Reviews and Ratings <br />
The hotel has beautiful and spacious rooms with spectacular views of the Potala Palace, which makes for a stunning backdrop. However, the service does not quite match the luxury standards you'd expect from a St. Regis, with missed housekeeping details and unresponsive staff. Additionally, the closure of the pool and spa was disappointing, impacting the overall experience. Despite these issues, the comfort of the rooms and stunning views make it a decent option.
Our stay at the St. Regis in Lhasa was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, but we ran into several service issues that detracted from the experience. The hotel's location was convenient for sightseeing, but the dining options, especially breakfast, left much to be desired. Overall, while the hotel has great potential, it needs significant improvements in service and dining quality to meet expectations.
The hotel has a beautiful location with a calm and green environment in the heart of the city, but it unfortunately suffers from poor maintenance and staff language barriers. The room was spacious and comfortable but plagued by some issues like mosquitoes and a poorly fitting shower door. While the staff was well-meaning, their limited English made communication about local recommendations challenging. Overall, it has a lot of potential but requires significant improvements in service and upkeep.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, appreciating the clean and spacious rooms, as well as the delightful breakfast offerings. The staff provided excellent service, but a few issues with room preparation and occasional slow responses dampened the experience slightly. The location is superb, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. Overall, it’s a memorable place, just a few improvements could make it even better.
I had an amazing time at the hotel, with breathtaking views of the Potala Palace and a serene atmosphere that made my stay truly enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but the dining experience could have been better, especially at busy times. It’s a fantastic place to relax and unwind, although some aspects of service could use improvement during peak hours.
